Irish artist Aisling Clancy, Sligo

Aisling Clancy is an Irish Artist who has graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. She specialises in oil painting, however, she sometimes experiments with different media. Aisling’s artwork is not constricted to one style in particular as she paints and draws in both representational and semi-abstract styles. Both styles require a different approach. She enjoys the precision of the realistic style, while the gestural nature of the semi-abstract work allows for more freedom and a looser approach, which she hopes to develop further.

Three of Aisling`s paintings have been purchased by the Sligo Institute of Technology, two of which are on public display in the college and one bought privately. Aisling has exhibited and sold work in numerous exhibitions. Her work was also selected by Incognito 2020 to appear on their range of limited edition merchandise.
