Irish artist Anne D'Alton, Dublin and France

I lived and trained (NCAD) and worked as an Artist, in Dublin, Ireland. For many years I also taught Art as well as Interior Architecture working mainly in watercolours and line and wash.

My commissioned work was mainly corporate though I also did some private art works. Initially I concentrated on still-life and illustrating various buildings. However, when I moved to Brittany some years ago, the emphasis on my work changed and my specialities today are illustrating racing, etc., cars, motorbikes and also portraiture. Still-lives though, are still part of my portfolio. Having my own 'Atelier' has enabled me to continue to teach art and to undertake more competitive commissions. My hobbies include motor racing, gardening and playing the piano!
