Irish artist Ari Ahmad, Dublin

Ari Ahmad is a Dublin-based artist who works mostly with pen and ink, to illustrate detailed mythical scenes. When colour is added, her striking high contrast images are reminiscent of stained glass. Her work has been displayed in many locations throughout Dublin City. She qualified as an Interior Designer before discovering her passion for illustrating. She uses a variety of tools but feels most at home with pen and inks.

'My work focuses on myths and legends especially from Asia. I'm drawn to dark, macabre things, and I love being transported to another world where anything is possible'.

A celebration of original artwork, online and Worldwide (since 2000)
