French artist Atika El sayed Chahir, France

I'm new to this art. I scribbled and painted a lot when I was young, but life prevented me from continuing what was a real hobby until last year, painting! I then met with a fabulous Artist, Olivier Merijon, whose work I barely saw, but who seemed to read my mind and push me to express it in painting. I went on an internship with his team of French artists in the Lot south of France near Cahors, and I came out addicted to painting. It was a revelation! Since then, I dream of painting all the time. put colors, shapes, and textures on a canvas, to represent my excitement in front of nature, human architectural achievements or simply pictorially materialize my dreams. I'm a beginner but I'm trying to improve myself to express more accurately what I have in mind... hopefully in an abstract manner in the future.

I am delighted for New Irish Art group to accept a French person pretending at being an artist in their project. I hope this will generate discussions around our artwork and help me to progress.
