Spanish artist Azu Aliaga, Spain and Galway

Since my childhood, I have been into art, especially painting. However, it wasn't until a year before starting my university studies that I considered it my professional path. After going through several academies, I started my degree in Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain. This January, I joined the Contemporary Art program at ATU's Center for Creative Arts and Media as an Erasmus international student in Galway. I couldn't love it more. I fell in love with Ireland and honed a special connection with this gorgeous island.

My work can be seen as diverse. Because I love to explore different ways and techniques to work with, combine them and keep learning.

In 2022 I participated in the collective exhibition "Germen de Grupo Grafico" at the Iberflora International Fair, Feria de Valencia, Spain. In 2023, I also participated in the collective exhibition "Milkbox" at 126 artist-run gallery in Galway.
