Artist Barry Edwards, Waterford

Over the past two years I have been thoroughly engaged in a personal regeneration of my art.I spend many hours sketching and drawing along the River Suir Waterford shoreline near where I live, Passage East, Crooke, Woodstown and Dunmore East. I love to work on several pieces at once and it is often the element of accidental encounter that inspires me.I have now started to work from the smaller paintings, sketches and memories acquired to make larger works in the studio. 'Reverie' was the first of these.
