Irish artist Conor O'Connell, Roscommon


Conor O'Connell was born in 1999 and lives in Ballaghaderreen, co. Roscommon, and has always had a strong passion for painting, wildlife and the outdoors. The main subjects of his artwork are birds and mammals but he also enjoys painting landscapes of Irish scenery. He paints primarily in Watercolour but occasionally paints in Oils or Acrylics, and hardly a day goes by thathe doesn't produce at least one pencil or pen sketch! He regularly exhibits in his local area and has won many awards including being selected as one of the winners of the prestigious RSPB 'WildArt' Wildlife Art competition in 2015 and as a result had a watercolour exhibited at a Wildlife Art exhibition in the Mall Galleries, London.
