Philippines artist Daisy Brennan, Philippines and Kildare


Originally from the Philippines, I came to Ireland in 2001 to work and found myself learning how to paint again. I have no academic background in arts except for a three month class in painting in 2008 but as I really wanted to become a good artist I taught myself.

I read artbooks, visited galleries and studied other paintings. I regularly exhibit in Stephen's Green. Recently I had a solo exhibition. I already sold many of my paintings some of them already abroad. My works can also be viewed on my website and my facebook page. I paint in oils using varied subjects although I prefer to paint classic cars. I do not stick to one technique and I like my colours to be vibrant and attractive.
