Irish artist Dana Winder, Dublin and Kerry

Dana Winder is a self taught painter. Born in Dublin she now lives in south Kerry where the local landscape and plants inspire her work. Her paintings are usually oil on linen using palette knives and brushes. She paints outdoors directly viewing the subject matter as she works trying to capture essential qualities and colours.

Her expression is primarily through colour and the subject matter though often representational moves towards the abstract. She has had a number of solo exhibitions and her work can be seen in galleries in Dublin and Kerry.

Irish oil painter living and working in Co. Kerry. Garden paintings, nature paintings and landscape paintings of Ireland. These paintings are of artists garden and local Ring of Kerry scenery.
