Donald Curran is an Irish-American artist whose family is from Dundalk. He currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from high school, he studied at the Kansas City Art Institute. In 1975 Donald began a career as an illustrator. He is best known for designing and illustrating high end collectable steins for Anheuser-Busch, Inc. After twenty years of working for hundreds of national and international companies, he decided to devote himself to his first love of fine art oil painting. Donald's work has been exhibited in numerous museums, galleries and exhibitions. His paintings can be found in collections throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. He was commissioned to do three paintings for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.
