Geraldine Dennehy is known for her loose, fluid style in oil. Her subject matter focuses upon the quiet boglands of Achill and west Clare, and the docks and side streets of her native Limerick city.
Geraldine has exhibited in recent years at Beaufield Mews, Dublin; Tides Gallery, Liscannor, Co. Clare; Friars's Gate, Kilmallock and Adare Heritage Centre, Co. Limerick and the Hunt Museum, Limerick. Her paintings belong to the local collection of Limerick City Council, with further works held in private collections in France, Scotland, Germany and the U.S. Geraldine currently teaches oil and mixed media at Gallery 75, 65 O'Connell Street, Limerick.
