Ken O'Neill Art (Download The Catalogue)

Ken is a self-taught Irish Artist who was born in Waterford, Ireland in 1967 and who has exhibited throughout Ireland and London for the past 25 years.

Some of Ken's work hangs in private and permanent collections, the Gandon Museum, Dublin and the Office of Public works to name but two. Ken's current style of work is in the figurative pop art genre and has the ability to capture a particular mood for example menace, speed, intrigue and mystery. One of Ken's most difficult and enriching challenges are his idea's and thoughts when it comes to putting paint to canvas. Ken aims for the supreme and yet fundamental freedom of allowing his inner idea's already formed to make them heard.

For the past 25 years Ken's purpose in this being not so much to produce something for others but to engage with himself and his ideas to externalise the internal.
