Larry Dunne is an illustrator and visual artist based in Wexford. An NCAD and IADT graduate, his offbeat illustrative work is intricately detailed, surreal, and often finished in vibrant colours. His work mostly focuses on imaginative subversions of architecture, religious iconography, mythology, flora/fauna and aquatic environments, but often circles back to two central themes - homophobia and mental health - two things Dunne has historically struggled with, and continues to tackle through art and activism.
