Irish artist Micheal Joyce, Dublin and England

Mícheál Joyce, self taught artist, born in Dublin and now living in Kent, England since 1988.

I spent a lot of my school holidays at both my parent's home farms in Mayo and Wexford and my paintings draw on these memories. They are part of our culture snd telling our real stories is what I love portraying without being sentimental.

My Favourite Artist is Norman Rockwell who always told a story in his Art.

Using Acrylics is great as it helps me make quick changes when they dry rapidly.

Showing original Irish art, online and Worldwide (since 2000)
