Irish artist Micheal O'Fearghail, Kilkenny

I painted exclusively in oils until a few years ago, when I took a few classes with a great local watercolourist. It opened my eyes to the medium. Now I paint almost exclusively in watercolour. I also like drawing, and I still do the odd oil painting. I love the sea, and it features in most of my paintings.

Apart from a few classes here and there, I am a mostly self taught landscape painter. Though I have been painting since my teens, it is only in the past few years that I have started to show my work. Now that I have fewer commitments, I spend more and more time in my studio. I post my new work each week on instagram (booley_art) and facebook.

My website is booleyart.com.

Original artwork, online and Worldwide (since 2000)
