I was born in Gdansk, Poland. That's where I was raised, fell in love with horses (the first thing I ever drew was a horse, albeit it had split feet, like a cow's, and reins attached to its ears), and did an extended fine arts program in secondary school. Specializing in equine art was just a matter of time as my interest in horses and equine industry never faded. Although my studies and later my professional career had nothing to do with art, I continued to draw as much and as often as I could. I have travelled a lot over the years and I've lived in several countries including 'down under'. I finally returned to Ireland several years ago and I currently live in the beautiful city of Kilkenny.
Over the years I have used pencil and charcoal as my media of choice and high realism has been my favourite style, but I have recently begun experimenting with a variety of media and techniques. My work consists largely of private commissions and I am constantly accepting new ones. My clients have included such eminent personalities as John Magnier of Coolmore Stud and I had the honour of drawing some of the biggest legends of the equestrian world like the illustrious thoroughbred sire Sadler's Wells, his phenomenal son Galileo, and the famous Addy competing under the Irish International Showjumper Trevor Breen.
