Japanese artist Nana Bradley, Japan and Galway

Nana Wakasugi was born in Osaka Prefecture, Japan in 1991. Growing up in the Kansai region Nana trained in the ancient Japanese art of calligraphy from an early age of nine, achieving the top level accolades at amateur level. On completion of her University degree in English and peace studies, Nana moved to Toronto, Ontario to expand on her understanding of the English Language. Upon meeting her future Irish husband decided to relocate to Ireland.

Nana is a self-taught artist who has worked to add her own artistic interpretation to the landscapes and characters that have inspired her, extending her artist licence on occasion to the landscapes of the Orient.

Nana currently resides in Eyrecourt, Co. Galway and is trying to devote more of her time in the development of her artistic skills and to express her experiences via her chosen medium.

Original artwork, online and Worldwide (since 2000)
