Irish artist Pam O'Connell, Galway


Pam O'Connell graduated from the Galway/Mayo Institute of Technology in 1996, majoring in Paint and Print. She then worked for 10 years as a fulltime artist, exhibiting in Ireland and abroad. In 2006 she commenced the full time Masters in Fine Art in the Burren College of Art graduating in 2008. She then trained as an Arts Facilitator and is at present completing a post graduate certificate in arts in healthcare settings. Pam originally studied Social Science and as an artist this background has proved very influential in her work. She is working in her own practice in Galway as well as facilitating art workshops.
