Pamela Manson studied Fine Art at the Belfast College of
Art in the late 60s early 70s. She taught Art and Design
for 32 years. Having taken early retirement she now
fulfills a lifelong ambition to paint professionally.
She paints in Carrick South Donegal.
The inspiration for her impressionist work comes from
the dramatic scenery of the Mournes Co. Down and Slieve
League, and Carrick Co. Donegal.
She works mainly in oils on canvas and has a particular
interest in the bog lands of both areas which, to her,
are quintessentially Irish.
She has exhibited her work in Northern Ireland, Dublin,
Donegal and is represented in private collections in
Switzerland,Dubai and the USA. Pamela is an associate
member of the Art Society of Ulster
