Irish art, Pat Flannery
I am an Irish Artist, living on the beautiful west coast of Ireland in
Galway city. I am a self-taught artist, born with natural artistic instincts,
genetically inherited through my mother. My earliest memories are of painting
and creating all types of artwork, at the family table.
I put my passion for the arts aside, to raise my family and now that my children
are reared, I am elated to be in a position, to return to my first love of
painting.
Over the last number of years, I have explored the varied media available to
follow my passion and now my works are predominantly in the medium of
Watercolour and Oils.
My paintings are colourful, atmospheric, detailed, and cover a wide range of
themes, largely influenced and inspired by every changing, magically mystic
ruggedness of the Irish landscape, its colours and moods, as well as other
captivating things encountered on my travels.
My artwork is painted with feeling, vitality and creativity, and will add a
touch of beauty and magic to your home or work space.
My work ranges from small paintings suitable for a shelf or mantelpiece to large
statement pieces which can add a focal point to any room.
