Irish artist Rosemary Noonan, Kildare

Rosemary, a talented and passionate visual artist, is based in the beautiful town of Naas, Co. Kildare. Her artistic journey began at the prestigious National College of Art and Design (NCAD), where she recently graduated with first-class honors, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft.

In October of last year, Rosemary launched her professional art business, aptly named A Rosie View. With a primary focus on portraiture, she skillfully captures the essence and unique characteristics of her subjects. However, Rosemary's artistic vision extends beyond traditional portraiture. She has a remarkable ability to transform meaningful memories into captivating works of art, creating deeply personal and cherished pieces for her clients.

In addition to her thriving art business, Rosemary is a co-founder of the Kildare Creative Sphere, a vibrant network of emerging professional artists in the region. Through this collective, Rosemary collaborates with fellow artists, fostering a supportive and inspiring community for artistic growth and exploration. Rosemary also shares her expertise and passion for art as a part-time art teacher at the Whitebox Gallery in Naas.

Recognizing Rosemary's exceptional talent and artistic contributions, she was awarded a prestigious grant by the Kildare Arts Council. This honor allows her to produce a captivating body of work for First Fortnight 2024, an organization dedicated to mental health awareness. Rosemary's project focuses on exploring the female cycle, using her artistic expression to shed light on significant aspects of women's lives.

Rosemary has exhibited her work through various prestigious platforms, including the Naas Art Group, the Whitebox Gallery, McKennas Gallery in the Riverbank, and as part of the NCAD Graduate Show. Her participation in these exhibitions has allowed her to showcase her unique artistic style and connect with art enthusiasts and collectors.

While painting remains her primary artistic medium, Rosemary is not one to shy away from experimentation. She thrives on exploring new artistic horizons and has recently delved into the realm of digital art and various other media. This adventurous spirit enables her to push the boundaries of her creativity and produce captivating and innovative works of art.

With her exceptional talent, dedication to her craft, and boundless creativity, Rosemary is quickly establishing herself as a prominent figure in the vibrant art scene within Kildare. Her artistic prowess and ability to evoke emotion through her work continue to captivate art enthusiasts and collectors alike.
