Seamus Kelly Art (Download The Catalogue)

Seamus Kelly is a Sligo based artist recently gone full time artist after years painting as a hobby part time. Apart from a fondness for little hens and their antics Seamus feels the coastal scenary around Sligo needs to be put on canvas. The Beaches at Strandhill are changing from sand to stone and back to sandy stoney underfoot with backdrops and foreground of sea washed stone that begs for their portraits.

Every object deserves its portrait. Dogs, cats, Trees and stone all have their moment depending on the day, light and time. The great old trees occupying their space over time in the old estates near Sligo show their finery depending on the seasons. They need to be preserved for posterity in Oil.
