Irish artist Stephen Ward, England

I am 60 years old, my Artwork is inspired and in memory of my son, Craig, who took his own life sadly, aged 29 years old,in April 2016. My artwork is, in my mind, guided by my son, and prolongs his memory. I live in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England, where I was born, and have Irish heritage, as my Mother was a Murphy, and her Mother was a Connor! I attended Carlisle Art College many, many years ago, and studied Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography.

I am retiring early from work, mainly due to my son's premature death, and have found my return to Art, fulfilling and meaningful. It helps me to find my direction in life again.

My Artwork is mainly abstract, I like the effects aerosol paints give, and hope that you find my paintings interesting!

A celebration of original artwork, online and Worldwide (since 2000)
