Irish artists - Sue Bryan - Towards Evening" title="Art, Towards Evening"

'I love to draw. I draw whatever moves me at a particular moment in time. For the past couple of years I've been working primarily in charcoal. I love the hands on approach to the medium and the warm, earthy tones and textures I can achieve on Arches cold-press paper. Charcoal helps me to say what I want to say'.
Born and raised in Ireland, self-taught artist Sue Bryan now
lives and works in New York City. She has been exhibiting
regularly since 2010 and her work has been selected for several
juried exhibitions throughout the US including the Bradley
International Print and Drawing Exhibition, 2011, and the Fort
Wayne Museum of Art Contemporary Realism Biennial, 2012. In
August 2011, her drawing 'Farmer' was awarded 'Best of Show'
at the Salmagundi Non-Members' Graphics and Photography
Exhibition held in the Salmagundi Art Club, New York City.
