Irish artist Tom Herdman, Cork

Painting was always something that I knew was within me and it was only in recent years I explored this more seriously. This involved learning the technical and practical aspects but also much reflection and observation on my surroundings.

Being Cork based, the city and sea have a big influence on my work and painting water has a particular calling. I strive to perfect on how one incorporates the subtleties, colour and movement of water into a still artwork. I do not define myself by any particular style or era but put simply, I paint what I enjoy painting

Original artwork, online and Worldwide (since 2000)
