Born in Dublin, Vincent studied at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in his earlier years. Recently, since retiring in 2012, he has returned to formal art training, completing a number of advanced oil painting courses in the Dun Laoghire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT).
Vincent has exhibited in a number of group and solo exhibitions over the years, including the annual exhibition of the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club. He has also exhibited in a number of galleries, and recently in the Glasthule Gallery. His preferred medium is oil on canvas. However, Vincent has produced many watercolour, pastel and mixed media works, including designs for published book covers. He is a member of the Dublin Art Society.
Vincent is primarily influenced by what he sees in the real world and works extensively on landscapes and streetscapes of all types. His work most conveys life in Ireland and the diversity of the landscape. Vincent also works on portraiture and accepts commissions.
