Currently I am exploring the yearning for solitude which, seems to me, to be accompanying the frenetic life-style which people are facing in this modern world. I see Skellig Michael as embodying this longing for solitude but I also see it in the expanse of the sky, filled with wonderful clouds. We are fortunate to live in a country which has these lovely 'cloudy' skies. Currently I have three Cloud pieces showing in the member's exhibition at the West Cork Art Centre. I will also be showing a couple of works at the Baldoyle Art (group) exhibition in June and at other group shows. Fortunate to have works in USA, Ireland, Italy and the UK (private collections).
