Irish artist Cathal O'Briain, Dublin

Cathal O'Briain is a self-taught Watercolour artist. His work is influenced by Ciaran O'Briain, Thomas Girtin, Paul Sandby, William Turner, Herman Pekel, Paul Henry, Stanislaw Zoladz, and Joseph Zbukvic. Cathal enjoys sketching outdoors and working from photographs at his Wexford based studio and public art gallery in Lucan, Dublin. In 1994, upon completing a Fine Art, Craft and Design portfolio preparation course at Dundrum Senior College, Cathal studied Presentation Design at Dublin Institute of Technology.
