Reflections [at 26 Years]

In a fast moving world, take some time out from all the alerts, the calls and distractions and simply let the artwork talk to you.

During this past few months of reflection around the experience of running this project, I have developed a number of opinions, far too many and most not worth sharing as their value is questionable and this is not a platform for pushing my opinions so nuff said. Being able to provide the option for so many talented artists to show their work here is a privilege so when that opportunity first presented itself I simply could not resist.

Witnessing audience engagement, managing growth and seeing so much new original artwork has been a reward in itself. Overcoming technical challenges and unexpected bureaucratic barriers has required, often surprisingly, quite a lot of consideration and extra effort.

The World stands still when you engage with the arts to the extent that nothing else matters (or, on the flipside, where everything else matters). In either case you should engage and arrive at your own conclusions, enjoy the journey, that's the key, you are very welcome!
